Pumpkin Scones

- 1 oz softened butter shopping list
- pinch salt shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugsr shopping list
- 1 cup cooked mashed pumpkin shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/2 to 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups self raising flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 tsp ground nut neg shopping list
How to make it
- Beat Butter & sugar tog till smooth
- Add pumpkin
- Mix well
- Add egg and beat well
- Fold in sifted dry ingrediants along with drizzleing in 1/4 cup of milk to make a soft but not sticky dough. Add more milk if required
- Turn out onto a floured surface, pat out to 3/4" thick.
- Cut into 2" squares or with a 2" scone cutter.
- Pat all cut sides gently with extra flour to seal
- Place on a greased oven tray
- Brush over with milk to glaze
- Bake in a pre heated oven at 450 F
- 12-15 min.
