How to make it

  • Beat Butter & sugar tog till smooth
  • Add pumpkin
  • Mix well
  • Add egg and beat well
  • Fold in sifted dry ingrediants along with drizzleing in 1/4 cup of milk to make a soft but not sticky dough. Add more milk if required
  • Turn out onto a floured surface, pat out to 3/4" thick.
  • Cut into 2" squares or with a 2" scone cutter.
  • Pat all cut sides gently with extra flour to seal
  • Place on a greased oven tray
  • Brush over with milk to glaze
  • Bake in a pre heated oven at 450 F
  • 12-15 min.
