Stumps Pie Crust

- 1 1/4 sifted flour shopping list
- 1/2tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2c shortening shopping list
- 2 1/2T cold water shopping list
How to make it
- Sift together flour and salt.
- With a fork for pastry cutter, cut in shortening until it is the size of peas.
- Sprinkle the cold water over different parts of the mixture.
- Mix thoroughly with the pastry cutter until all particles cling together and form a ball of dough.
- Roll out for pie crust and trim edges.
- Prick bottom with a fork.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
- *1 recipe for bottom only.
- *Double recipe for bottom and top.
