How to make it

  • Rinse bulgar and cover with boiling water. add 1 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper. More if you like Refrigerate at least 1/2 hr. Chop parsley, mint, tomatoes, onions and olives. Add to bulgar. Add lemon or lime juice and olive oil. If you don't have olive oil a light cooking oil will work. If to dry add a little more juice and 1 more tbs olive oil. Refrigerate at least two hours. Serve on lettuce leaves or as a filler in Gyro sandwiches. Yum!!

    This is good stuff. I make tabouli occasionally. I haven't used olives before, but I like them in just about anything. I'll have to give it a try. I also put a little vietnamese cinnamon in mine.
