Sauted Spinach

- 2 pounds fresh spinach, stems trimmed off shopping list
- One quarter cup olive oil shopping list
- 5 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- One half tsp. red pepper flakes shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- balsamic vinegar shopping list
How to make it
- Bring a large pot of boiling water to a boil and place spinach in boiling water to wilt (this only takes a few seconds).
- Remove from boiling water and place in a colander.
- In a skillet saute garlic and red pepper flakes in olive oil for about 1 minute, add wilted spinach and cook another minute or so.
- Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with vinegar if desired.
