How to make it

  • Mix H2O, vinegar, brown sugar and red pepper
  • Bring to a boil and simmer 5 min.
  • Cut sausage into bite size pieces
  • Slice onions thinly
  • Alternate layers of
  • sausage & onions in Mason (canning) jars
  • Pour hot brine over sausage & onions
  • Cover and let cool
  • Refrigerate for two days or so for the flavors to meld
  • Enjoy!
