Ruths Green Olive Spread

- 1/2 cup green olives, drained shopping list
- 1 clove of garlic shopping list
- 3 oz Neufchatel or cream cheese shopping list
- 1/4 cup olive oil Mayo shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice shopping list
- 2 Teaspoons Olive Brine shopping list
- 2-3 Shakes of hot pepper sauce shopping list
- fresh ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon Chopped cilantro shopping list
- Pinch of Crushed red pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Using the small bowl in your processor, chop olives and garlic until they are minced. Remove olive mixture and place in a medium sized bowl.
- Using same small bowl whip Neufchatel in processor until it is fluffy. Add the mayo and process until creamy. Pulse in lemon juice, brine, pepper sauce, and ground pepper.
- Fold mixture into green olives. Add chopped cilantro and red pepper, to taste.
- Can be eaten immediately, but will taste even better the next day.
