Orange Spiced Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients
- Ingredient shopping list
- sweet potatoes, peeled & diced 2 lb shopping list
- dark brown sugar 1/2 cup shopping list
- butter, cut into small pieces 1/2 cup shopping list
- ground cinnamn 1 tsp shopping list
- ground nutmeg 1/2 tsp shopping list
- grated orange peel 1/2 tsp shopping list
- juice of lemon 1 shopping list
- salt 1/4 tsp shopping list
- vanilla 1 tsp shopping list
- - toasted pecans, chopped - shopping list
How to make it
- In a baking dish; mix sweet potatoes, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange peel, orange juice, salt and vanilla. Cover, cook in preheated 350 F (180 C) oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with pecans before serving.
