DAVY CROCKETT BARS

A great tasting bar cookie that's a blast from the past. They use to serve these in the school lunch program when I was in school.
Ingredients
- 1 c. butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 c. white sugar shopping list
- 1 c. brown sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 2 c. flour shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 2 c. quick oats shopping list
- 1 c. chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 c. chopped nuts shopping list
How to make it
- Mix in order given. Press onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 20-25
- minutes at 350 degrees. Cool slightly, then cut. Put in airtight
- container. Bars tend to dry out if left uncovered.
