How to make it

  • Bring large pot of salted water to a boil for the noodles. Cook noodles according to pkg. directions;drain and set aside.
  • Saute kielbasa and mushrooms in 2 Tbs oil in large skillet pan over med-high heat till browned,5 mins. Transfer to bowl;set aside.
  • Combine chicken with seasonings,tossing to coat,then dust with flour. Saute chicken in same pan in 2 Tbs oil over med-high heat until nearly cooked through,about 5 mins. Push chicken to one side of pan.Add tomato paste and garlic;saute 1 min.
  • Deglaze with sherry,simmer till nearly evaporated,then add broth,Worcestershire and reserved kielbasa-mushroom mixture. Bring to simmer and reduce by half,about 5 min.
  • Off heat,stir in sour cream. Serve strogonoff over prepared egg noodles and garnish with scallions.
