Moms Chilled Melon Buttermilk Soup

- 1 ½ cups orange juice shopping list
- 1/3 cup Saco buttermilk blend shopping list
- 1 medium cantaloupe, peeled, seeded, and cubed shopping list
- 2 T. honey shopping list
- ¼ t. salt shopping list
- ¼ t nutmeg shopping list
- ½ t. vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/8 t. cayenne pepper (optional) shopping list
- 6 mint sprigs for garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Pour orange juice into blender.
- Add buttermilk blend and blend untill powder is dissolved.
- Add cantaloupe, cover and process until pureed.
- Add the honey, salt, nutmeg, vanilla, and cayenne pepper.
- Cover and process till smooth.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Pour into six bowls and garnish each with a mint sprig.
