- 1/4 c butter,cubed shopping list
- 1/4 c flour shopping list
- 4 c water shopping list
- 3 Tbs chili powder shopping list
- 1 tsp garlic salt shopping list
- 1 lb. ground beef (or turkey) shopping list
- 1 lb bulk pork sausage (or turkey sausage) shopping list
- 1/4 c chopped onion shopping list
- 1 c refried beans shopping list
- 8 flour tortillas(8"),warmed shopping list
- 3 c (12 oz) shredded Monteray Jack cheese shopping list
- Optional toppings:shredded lettuce,chopped tomato,sliced ripe olives and sour cream shopping list
How to make it
- In large saucepan,melt butter. Stir in flour intil smooth;gradually add water. Bring to boil; cook and stir 1 min or till thickened. Stir in chili powder and garlic salt. Bring to boil.Reduce heat;simmer ,uncovered,for 10 mins.
- In large skillet over med. heat,cook beef,sausage and onion until meat is no longer pink;drain. Stir in refried beans;heat through.
- Spread 1/4 sauce in greased 9x13" baking dish. Spread 1 Tbs sauce over each tortilla;place 2/3 c meat mixture down center of each. Top each with 1/4 c cheese. Roll up and place in baking dish seam side down. Pour remaining sauce over the top;sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake,uncovered at 350 degrees for 18-22 mins or until bubbly and cheese is melted. Serve with optional toppings.
