Lemon Cream Filling

Sufficient to fill one cake, or pipe it into your basic vanilla cake or lemon chiffon cake.
Ingredients
- Ingredients shopping list
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 tablespoons grated orange zest shopping list
- 1/2 cup orange juice shopping list
- 1 large egg, slightly beaten shopping list
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice shopping list
- 1 cup whipped cream shopping list
How to make it
- Directions
- Combine sugar, flour, orange juice, orange zest, lemon juice and egg in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly until thick. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature, without stirring. Fold in whipped cream.
