Tomato Cheese Melt - Diabetic

- Ingredients: shopping list
- I onion bagel lite or english muffinlite, split shopping list
- ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese, reduced-fat shopping list
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper shopping list
- 2 tomato slices shopping list
- 1 Tbs. Shredded parmesan cheese, reduced-fat shopping list
How to make it
- On each bagel or muffin half, sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese and cayenne pepper. Top with tomato slice. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over each tomato.
- Broil 6-inches from the heat for 4-5 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
- Yield: 2 servings.
- Nutritional Values; 1 serving Half, Calories per serving: 163, Fat: 5g, Cholesterol: 17mg, Sodium: 319mg, Carbohydrate: 21g, Fiber: 1g, Protein: 8g.
- Diabetic Friendly.
- Note: A modified version of the original resipe. I have cut the fat content of the original recipe.
