Spicy Fish

- 200g of fish, cut to cubes shopping list
- 1" ginger, sliced to thin pieces shopping list
- 1 bunch of dried chilli (cut and soaked to remove seed) shopping list
- 2 shallots (chopped) shopping list
- 5 pieces of garlic (chopped) shopping list
- 1 teaspoon of oil shopping list
- 1 teaspoon of fish sauce shopping list
- 1 pinch of salt shopping list
- 1 pinch of pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup of water shopping list
- 2 tablespoon of cornstarch mixture (for thickening) shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of Thai Chilli Paste shopping list
- 1 teaspoon of brown sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil shopping list
How to make it
- Marinate fish with salt, pepper, fish sauce and sesame oil for about 1 hr.
- Heat up the oil and saute shallot. Add in garlic, ginger and dry chilli.
- Add in fish and fry for about a minute.
- Add in water, soy sauce and sweet soy sauce, thai chilli paste and cook at low fire.
- After 4 minustes, add in brown sugar, stir and dish to serve.
