How to make it

  • In large bowl combine egg, bread crumbs, 1/2 cup pasta sauce, garlic and rosemary.
  • Remove casings from sausage then add ground beef and mix well.
  • Mix 2/3 of the mixture evenly in bottom of loaf pan.
  • Make a 1/2" indentation down center of meat mixture.
  • Place cheese cubes in indentation then pat remaining meat mixture evenly over top.
  • Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 hour then allow to stand 10 minutes.
  • To serve transfer meatloaf to a platter then drizzle top with 2 tablespoons pasta sauce.
  • Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons shredded cheese and garnish with rosemary sprigs and serve.
