Firehouse Meatloaf

- 1 egg beaten shopping list
- 1 cup soft bread crumbs shopping list
- 1/2 cup bottled pasta sauce with vegetables and herbs shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary crushed shopping list
- 8 ounces italian sausage shopping list
- 1 pound ground beef shopping list
- 2 ounces mozzarella cheese cubed shopping list
- 2 tablespoons bottled pasta sauce with vegetables and herbs shopping list
- 2 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese shopping list
How to make it
- In large bowl combine egg, bread crumbs, 1/2 cup pasta sauce, garlic and rosemary.
- Remove casings from sausage then add ground beef and mix well.
- Mix 2/3 of the mixture evenly in bottom of loaf pan.
- Make a 1/2" indentation down center of meat mixture.
- Place cheese cubes in indentation then pat remaining meat mixture evenly over top.
- Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 hour then allow to stand 10 minutes.
- To serve transfer meatloaf to a platter then drizzle top with 2 tablespoons pasta sauce.
- Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons shredded cheese and garnish with rosemary sprigs and serve.
