Arranchera Skirt Steak Taco with beer

This is a quick and simple marinade for skirt steak. Make sure to ask the butcher to cut the meat thin and run it through the tenderizer.
Ingredients
- 2-3 lbs skirt steak shopping list
- 1 Small white onion-Sliced thin shopping list
- 5 garlic cloves-halved and mashed shopping list
- 1 orange-thinly sliced (with peeling) shopping list
- 1-1/2 Teaspoons cumin shopping list
- 1/2 bottle light-colored beer (lager style) shopping list
- 1/2 Cup soy sauce shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- In a large baking dish place a layer onion, orange, garlic, then place a layer of meat on top of it. Sprinkle about 1/2 cumin, and salt and pepper. Pour half of beer and soy sauce over it. Then repeat step until meat is gone. Cover and let marinade at room temp for 30-60 minutes. Grill about 6-7 minutes per side.
