Mandarin Orange Kuchen

- 6 eggs shopping list
- 275 g sugar shopping list
- 375 g flour shopping list
- 300 g butter or margarine shopping list
- 2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 4 cans of of mandarin oranges well drained shopping list
- ( drained and reserve juice from 2 cans only ) shopping list
How to make it
- Separate the eggs and beat egg whites until stiff.
- Beat egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar, and blend in flour and baking powder gradually.
- Gently blend in egg whites
- Grease an oblong baking pan well
- Place on the batter
- Equally spread on the drained oranges
- Bake in 175C oven about 25 to 30 minutes or tested done
- Then pour the reserved liquid over the warm cake
- Serve warm or room temp or chilled with a dollop of whipped cream
