How to make it

  • Boil rice until al dente and set aside
  • in a skillet melt butter and saute onions and peppers
  • add aniseed and stir for 3 minutes
  • add cooked rice to skillet and fry
  • add coconut oil and cook for 5 minutes before serving

    Thanks for the comments guys. I will try your version of it Chefsumu. I stayed away from those strong flavours because its a side dish. We also dont want to take away from the main dish you see :)

    A nice one and its similar to an indian rice dish named Jeera pulao In this we will add little green chillies and ginger garlic paste and we cook in Dum method
