Ingredients

How to make it

  • sautee onions in butter until soft
  • add garlic and jalapeno and sautee
  • add chicken livers and 10ml of water and cook until soft (or 15 minutes)
  • reduce heat and add sour cream
  • simmer over a low heat, stirring occassionally for 5 minutes
  • stir in peppercorns and parsley
  • serve on a baked potato or with pasta of your choice

    Too right about chicken livers. They can be a surprise treat. Nice recipe but I think I'll cut the sour cream in half and add 1/4 cup of dry white wine. Maybe the sour cream you get there is mild but here it's fairly strong and would overpower the dish. Hope you don't mind.
