Jazzed up Chicken livers

- 1 shallot shopping list
- 1garlic clove, crushed shopping list
- 1 jalapeno, chopped shopping list
- 500g chicken livers, cleaned and kept whole shopping list
- 500ml sour cream shopping list
- 5 ml crushed pink peppercorns shopping list
- 5 ml parsley shopping list
How to make it
- sautee onions in butter until soft
- add garlic and jalapeno and sautee
- add chicken livers and 10ml of water and cook until soft (or 15 minutes)
- reduce heat and add sour cream
- simmer over a low heat, stirring occassionally for 5 minutes
- stir in peppercorns and parsley
- serve on a baked potato or with pasta of your choice

Too right about chicken livers. They can be a surprise treat. Nice recipe but I think I'll cut the sour cream in half and add 1/4 cup of dry white wine. Maybe the sour cream you get there is mild but here it's fairly strong and would overpower the di...more
