Butter Beef

- 3 pounds cubed beef stew meat shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter (or margarine) shopping list
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix shopping list
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste) shopping list
- 1 teaspoon pepper (or to taste) shopping list
- 1/4 cup flour (option) shopping list
How to make it
- Place beef and butter in slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the onion soup mix, parsley, salt and pepper over the beef and butter.
- Cover, cook on Low for 7-8 hours or High for 4-5 hours.
- Stir once or twice.
- Sometimes I'll add the flour here to thicken up the butter sauce. This is purely optional and to your preference!
- Serve over noodles or rice.
