How to make it

  • Drizzle some oil on the garlic bulb and wrap in tin foil
  • @ 180oc for 40 mins
  • When garlic is soft sqeeze out into food processor
  • Add mustard, honey, vinegar and basil
  • Whizz until blended
  • With the motor on drizzle oil in a steady stream through the oil
  • Season

    Hate to contradict you but this is not just salad dressing. Sure, you can use it on a salad but I can see heaps of places this would work very well indeed. You have your own very good pesto here. Thanks for the post. RJ
