Meatballs in Sweet and Sour Sauce

- 1/2 kilo of ground pork shopping list
- 1 tsp of minced garlic shopping list
- 1 tsp of grated ginger shopping list
- 1/2 cup of grated carrots shopping list
- 1/4 cup of chopped onion shopping list
- 1 tbsp of light soy sauce ( I used Kikkoman ) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp of salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp of ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp of sesame seed oil shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 tsp of worcestershire sauce ( I used the Lea and Perrins brand ) shopping list
- 2 tsp of sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs shopping list
- FOR THE sweet and sour sauce : shopping list
- 225 ml of vinegar shopping list
- 12 tbsp of brown sugar shopping list
- 3 tbsp of tomato Catsup shopping list
- 3 tsp soy sauce shopping list
- 6 tsp of cornstarch dissolved in 18 tsp of water. shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all the Ingredients in a bowl.
- Blend well and form round shapes.
- Pan fry the meatballs in little olive oil.
- Place them on paper towels.
- Prepare the sweet and sour sauce.
- Mix all the sauce ingredients in a sauce pan except the cornstarch mixture.
- Bring to boil and stir well.
- Add in the cornstarch mixture while stirring.
- Continue stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Add in the pan fried meatballs.
- Turn off heat.
- Serve with rice.

Lordy, lordy, I haven't made this in a donkey's lifetime. I don't think I even have my old recipe written down; that's okay cause they weren't as good as these will be.
I know, you use Kikkoman and Lea and Perrin's to impress the neighbors...moreelgourmand in Apia loved it
