How to make it

  • Cook rice per pkg directions
  • While rice is still hot, add 1/4 cup of the vinegar, sugar and salt to taste and chill to cool
  • Make dressing: in small bowl combine wasabi with hot water to make a paste
  • Add in soy sauce and stir to dissolve
  • Add a bit of olive oil and splace of rice wine vinegar
  • Asemble: layer in individual bowls: lettuce, rice, carrots, cucumbers, scallions, avocado, nori and seseme seeds
  • Spoon dressing over the top
  • Note: for seafood lovers one may top with fresh cooked crab or shushi grqade tuna etc
