Baked Penne With Feta And Dill Recipe
This is one of my favorite pasta and cheese dishes. The combination of feta, cheddar, dill and cream makes this so creamy and delicious.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound penne pasta
  • 2/3 pound feta cheese coarsely chopped with fork
  • 1/2 stick butter to grease rectangular baking dish
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup half & half
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup dill leaves
  • 5 slices cheddar cheese

Directions
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Drain and mix with feta cheese, black pepper and dill leaves.
  3. Spread mixture into well buttered casserole dish.
  4. Press with spatula or spoon to make even surface.
  5. Beat eggs slightly with a pinch of salt.
  6. Add half & half and milk and mix well then pour over macaroni.
  7. Decorate with cheddar cheese.
  8. Eggs half and half and milk should almost cover pasta if not add more milk.
  9. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
  10. Let rest for 15 minutes before serving.
