Zesty Sausage

This tastes like a cross between a hamburger and sausage. There is a surprising flavour coming through though, only the cook will know what it actually is.
Ingredients
- 1 kg minced lamb meat shopping list
- 1 onion, grated shopping list
- 10g lemon zest shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed shopping list
- 15g chives, chopped shopping list
- breadcrumbs (use according to the consistency you want) shopping list
- 10g nutmeg, grated shopping list
- 1 large egg shopping list
- olive oil (for frying) shopping list
How to make it
- add all ingredients in a mixing bowl, excluding the egg
- mix all ingredients together
- add egg and mix thoroughly
- once you are able to form balls start shaping your mixture
- roll your mince mixture into sausage-like shapes
- heat oil in frying pan and add sausage
- cook over low heat
- turn up heat then brown on the outside
- serve with potato wedges
