How to make it

  • Cook and stir first 5 ingredients till sugar dissolves.
  • Cook 5 minutes or till syrupy; cool.
  • Pour over chicken in shallow dish.
  • Cover; refridgerate overnight, turning occasionally.
  • Drain chicken; save marinade.
  • Preheat both sides of grill on HIGH for 10 minutes. Turn both sides of grill to MEDIUM-HIGH.
  • Brush grids with oil.
  • Place chicken on grids; close hood and cook 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Turn and baste often.
  • Serves 8.
