How to make it

  • Insert the teabag into a small saucepan of boiling water.
  • Add the pears into the tea and poach for 3 minutes. (save 1 tablespoon of tea juice for the cake croutons)
  • Simmer gently for 3 minutes (the tea flavors the mild pears to give a slight tart edge.
  • Display the chocolate chips on a serving plate first.
  • Drizzle half tablespoon of the tea juice onto each crouton.
  • Place the pears then the croutons in the pear centres.
  • Add yogurt and two chocolate chips for the eyes. Happy Easter - My Ssweet Pear X
