Apricot Amaretto Cheesecake

- 3 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 large egg shopping list
- 3/4 cup unbleached all purpose flour shopping list
- 24 ounces cream cheese softened shopping list
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 3 tablespoons unbleached all purpose flour shopping list
- 3 large eggs shopping list
- 16 ounce canned apricot halves drained and pureed shopping list
- 1/4 cup almond flavored liqueur shopping list
How to make it
- Combine butter and sugar until lightly and fluffy then blend in egg.
- Add flour and mix well then spread dough onto bottom of spring form pan.
- Bake at 450 for 10 minutes.
- Combine cream cheese, sugar and flour mixing at medium speed until well blended.
- Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each then add apricots and liqueur and mix well.
- Pour over crust then bake at 450 for 10 minutes then reduce heat to 250 and bake 65 minutes.
- Loosen cake from rim of pan but cool before removing rim of pan then chill.
- Garnish with additional apricot slices and almonds if desired.
