How to make it

  • Combine butter and sugar until lightly and fluffy then blend in egg.
  • Add flour and mix well then spread dough onto bottom of spring form pan.
  • Bake at 450 for 10 minutes.
  • Combine cream cheese, sugar and flour mixing at medium speed until well blended.
  • Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each then add apricots and liqueur and mix well.
  • Pour over crust then bake at 450 for 10 minutes then reduce heat to 250 and bake 65 minutes.
  • Loosen cake from rim of pan but cool before removing rim of pan then chill.
  • Garnish with additional apricot slices and almonds if desired.
