Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Grease casserole dish( dont have to use lid, but I prefer.
  • brown chicken breasts in skillet
  • once chicken breast is browned, dice into cubes and seperate into three parts
  • boil or steam veggies- but leave them a little bit undercooked!
  • Divide Cooked veggies into three parts
  • Pour half of one can of Mushroom soup in bottom of casserole dish
  • Add one part chicken, one part veggie, a sprinkle of cheese and a tich of garlic and some fresh herbs.
  • Repeat layering on top of first layer (Soup, chicken, veggies, herbs, garlic) until all ingredients are used.
  • On the top layer- add lots of cheese, and cover the entire top with the French's French Fried onions.
  • Bake in oven for about 25-40 minutes (the longer it stays in the oven, the crunchier it gets)
  • Remove form oven and let sit for about five minutes to allow sauce to thicken- and serve!
  • Left over ideas: Add left over casserole to low carb pasta for a deliciouse sauce that's good either warm or cold!

This would be a good recipe to put in the Guessipie Group since some ingredients don't have exact amount and since you can pick some of your own ingredients. Looks good!

You can use any brand of Mushroom soup you want. I simply prefer Campbell's.
