ALMOND JOY ICE CREAM This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Garza Estate in Royse City, Texas in 1994.
Ingredients
- 8 almond joy bars shopping list
- 6 eggs well beaten shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla shopping list
- 2 large cans evaporated milk shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
How to make it
- Melt candy bars with 2 cups milk then cool.
- Mix eggs and sugar in bowl then beat well.
- Add vanilla evaporated milk and candy mixture to 1 gallon freezer can.
- Finish with milk then freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
