Bourbon Or Rum Balls

- 1 cup finely crushed vanilla wafers shopping list
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans (I use a grinder) shopping list
- 1 cup of confectioner’s sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder shopping list
- 2 tablespoons bourbon or rum shopping list
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup shopping list
- powdered sugar, cocoa powder, finely shredded coconut, OR finely chopped nuts for coating the balls shopping list
How to make it
- Combine vanilla wafer crumbs, the pecans, the confectioner’s sugar and the cocoa powder;
- Combine the bourbon (or rum) and corn syrup; stir into the dry mixture. If mixture appears too dry, add more light corn syrup or a little more bourbon/rum;
- When thoroughly blended, cover and refrigerate for at least an hour;
- Shape dough into balls, maybe two teaspoons per ball. Roll each ball in powdered sugar, cocoa powder, finely shredded coconut, or finely chopped nuts;
- Store in the refrigerator.
