How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat,
  • Simmer for about 30 minutes or until reduced to about two cups.
  • Cover and set aside for basting later while cooking whatever beast you picked.
  • This amount of sauce will cover about 2 good sized racks of ribs, say 6 lbs or so.

    In answer to Brianna, this amount of sauce will work for about 2 racks, say... 6 lbs of ribs. Of course you can slather it on and on and on till it's gone if you have a little too much.

    You can use this as a final glaze or as a marinade and then reuse it later as final glaze. Depends on how you fix your choice of barbeque. The flavor is the specialty, how you use it is a personal technique.
