Ingredients

How to make it

  • - Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • - Increase heat to high and add golden syrup and honey. Bring to the boil, then remove from heat, pour into a large mixing bowl and allow to cool 10 minutes.
  • - Sift the remaining ingredients (except chocolate) into the butter mixture. Stir until well combined. Cover and set aside for an hour or so, until dough is firm.
  • - Preheat oven to 180ºc.
  • - Roll dough into walnut-sized balls and place on a baking tray, about 3 cm apart. Flatten balls with the back of a spoon.
  • - Bake for 7-10 minutes, until golden brown. Allow to cool on tray.
  • - When cool, dip the bottoms in melted chocolate and allow to set on a chilled, baking paper lined baking tray.

First:My thoughts are of you and your family,I pray that your husband returns safely home.

Second: When my first husband was in Viet Nam I use to send him care packages, and,it was a way to send him the love and thoughts of those that cared about him.

Thank-you for this very nice recipe.

    Kind Regards
