Corn Soup

- 2 (12 oz.) cans of whole kernel corn shopping list
- 2 1/2 tbsp. of cream cheese shopping list
- 1 tsp. of garlic salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. of ground black pepper shopping list
- ground cayenne pepper to taste shopping list
- 1/2 chopped onion shopping list
- 1 clove of minced garlic shopping list
- 1/4 c. of chopped fresh parsley shopping list
- 1 tbsp. of margarine shopping list
- 3 tbsp. of all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 1/2 c. of milk shopping list
- 1 c. of chicken broth shopping list
How to make it
- First you wan to take a large pot over medium flame.
- Saute the onion, garlic, parsley, and the butter approx. 5 min.
- Now add in the flour, whisking into a pasty mix.
- Now add in the corn and cream cheese and let through.
- Add in your garlic salt, pepper, and cayenne and ladle and serve!

Details, details, details. When do you add in the milk and broth?
With a whole teaspoon of black pepper there is no need to add any cayenne.
Overall a good recipe. I added a chopped up bell pepper. Picture included.pointsevenout in Athens loved it
