BEANCURD WITH FRENCH BEANS AND HOISIN SAUCE

- Bean curd 350 grams shopping list
- French beans 250 grams shopping list
- hoisin sauce 1/2 cup shopping list
- sesame oil (til oil) 1 tablespoon shopping list
- ginger, sliced 1 inch piece shopping list
- garlic, chopped 10 cloves shopping list
- onion , sliced 1 medium shopping list
- oil to deep fry shopping list
- Red chilli paste 1 tablespoon shopping list
- soy sauce 1 tablespoon shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Cut beancurd into two inch cubes and then cut each cube into four triangles.Heat sesame oil in a pan. Add ginger and garlic and sauté for two minutes. Add onion and sauté for further two minutes. Heat sufficient oil in a wok and deep fry French beans for two minutes. Drain and set aside. Add hoisin sauce to the onion along with red chilli paste and mix. Add the French beans and mix. Add beancurd triangles, soy sauce, salt and toss gently. Serve hot.
