Strawberry Key Lime Sorbet

Quick and easy summer dessert. Cool treat for hot days. Shown served with Mango Nutmeg Sorbet on a slice of pineapple.
Ingredients
- 1 c. water shopping list
- 3/4 c. sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2 lbs. strawberries shopping list
- 1/3 c. key lime juice shopping list
- zest of a lime shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the water and sugar over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Chill.
- In a blender, mix strawberries, lime juice, lime zest, and sugar water. Puree until smooth. Freeze.
- Use an ice cream freezer if you have one, otherwise stir the sorbet several times during freezing to keep it from getting rock hard.
