How to make it

  • Preheat grill to high -- all burners @ full blast.
  • Snap ends off asparagus where they naturally break.
  • With a gently hand and vegetable peeler, remove the fibrous skin on the ends.
  • Drizzle with a little oil (<1T should do).
  • Sprinkle with S & P to taste.
  • Gently lay asparagus on grill (perpendicular to grates so they don't fall through).
  • Cover lid immediately.
  • After about 2 minutes, roll them to char other side.
  • Cover, then remove after about 2 more min., or until lightly charred and done to your liking.
  • Boost flavor when serving: squirt on some lemon juice, sprinkle with lemon zest and/or fresh herbs, drizzle with balsamic, or just go naked!
Drizzle and season.   Close
Lay on the HOT grill strategically.   Close
