How to make it

  • Cream the cream cheese smooth and fluffly
  • Combine the sugar, vanilla, lemon and orange zest and beat smooth into cream cheese
  • Add the eggs and yolks 1 at a time, beat only to blend
  • Stir in the beer and cream
  • Pour mixture into a pastry crust 9 inch springform or graham cracker crumb l dusted pan
  • Bake in a preheated oven 400F about 10 to 12 mins or top is light brown
  • Reduce heat to 250F and bake until cake is firm, about 2 hours ( less time is needed if pastry crust is omitted )
  • Cool on wire rack
  • remove sides and chill cake very well
