Flan Custard Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Place sugar in skillet and caramelize by cooking over medium heat
  • Stir constantly with wooden spoon till sugar melts and turns golden brown to medium brown
  • Pour and spread quickly in bottom and side of baking dish
  • Combine remaining ingredients in bowl
  • Mix well
  • Pour over caramelized dish
  • Place dish into another swallow pan filled with 1" water
  • Bake 1 hour or till knife (inserted 1/2" from middle) comes out clean
  • Loosen edges with spatula
  • Cool
