How to make it

  • Preheat canola oil
  • Wash hands (て を あらう)
  • Cut the tofu into slice about 3/4 of an inch thick, then cut those in half again. (とうふ を きる)
  • Sponge excess water off with paper towel, then coat the tofu with potato starch (片栗粉 を つける)
  • Fry the Tofu till it it slightly brown on one side, then flip it, then take it out and place it on paper towel.(あぶら で あげる)
  • Mix the Water(みず) and Dashi Sauce(出汁) Together. (出汁 を つくる)
  • 出汁 を かける と ネギ を きる ( pour it on the fried tofu! place chopped green onions and shredded/and or ginger paste on top. enjoy!)
