Devilled Liver

- 3 pounds of uncooked beef liver shopping list
- 1/4 pound of uncooked salt pork shopping list
- 1/2 pint of bread crumbs shopping list
- 3 tablespoons of salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon of pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon of mace shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon of cloves shopping list
How to make it
- Chop the liver and pork very fine, add the other ingredients mixing well, put it into a covered mould, and set in a saucepan of cold water, cover and place on the fire to cook two hours. Take out the mould, uncover and let it stand in an open oven to let the steam off. This is a cold dish.
