How to make it

  • Cook pasta, drain, rinse and set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the garlic and cook for one minute.
  • Add the parsley, oregano, wine, and clam juice.
  • Bring to just a boil.
  • Add the clams and cooked pasta.
  • Cook until just heated.
  • Serve warm.

    Hay Lynn: This is a great post. I get fresh clams from the village boys here and make something very similar. My wife and daughter kept complaining that the sauce wouldn't stick to the pasta so I came up with Creamy White Clam Sauce Recipe, which you can find by clicking on my avatar and then on my recipes.     I make my clam sauce along these lines & it is the bomb! Thanks Lynnthomas for posting this....not a complicated recipe, but tastes like a fancy dish!
