Pork And Rib Rub

This is a spice mixture that I make to rub down pork roasts, pork loins, spare ribs and baby back ribs. It gives everything a great bark. Be liberal with it - don't skimp - it kind of melts on the pork and ribs.
Ingredients
- 1 cup dark brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup paprika shopping list
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. garlic powder shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. onion powder shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. lemon pepper shopping list
- 2 teas. dried thyme shopping list
- 1 teas. cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 teas. salt shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients together in small food processor and whirl to mix well. Store in a glass jar or baggie until ready to use.
- With most meats, this works well to rub the meat the night before so the seasonings have a chance to soak into the meat.
