How to make it

  • Using an electric mixer, beat the thickened cream and castor sugar together in a bowl until stiff.
  • Lay out all of your spoons on serving plates and put a blob of custard on each spoon - be careful not to use too much custard or they will overflow when you add the pudding.
  • Take a tsp, scoop out lumps of the hot christmas pudding and drop them on the custard.
  • Top with a dollop of the whipped cream.
  • Scatter with the flaked almond & grated orange zest.
  • Serve warm.
