Cherry Cheesecake Muffins

- Ingredients shopping list
- 1/3 c. cream cheese shopping list
- 2 Tbs. icing sugar shopping list
- 1/3 c. butter, softened shopping list
- 2/3 c. Packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1 ea. egg shopping list
- 1 Tsp. Grated orange rind shopping list
- 2 c. all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 Tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 Tsp. salt shopping list
- 2/3 c. milk shopping list
- 1/3 c. Whole cherry jam shopping list
- 2 Tbs. pecans, finely chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Directions
- Blend cream cheese with icing sugar; set aside.
- Cream together butter and brown sugar; beat in egg and orange rind.
- Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, stirring until just blended. Do not over mix.
- Spoon into large greased muffin tins, filling halfway to top.
- Add 1 Tsp. of the cream cheese mixture and 1 Tsp. of the jam to each; top with remaining batter. Sprinkle with nuts.
- Bake in 375 F over for 25-30 minutes or until firm to the touch. Remove immediately from tins.
