How to make it

  • clean the trout, removing head and tail if preferred
  • stuff the trout with some of the onions and celery, reserving remainder...
  • place a large piece of foil on the BBQ, and pour oil onto it
  • light BBQ and place on LOW flame
  • place a layer of sliced lemons on foil
  • place the trout on top of the lemon slices
  • place remaining vegetable around and on the fish
  • BBQ on LOW flame for 45 -50 minutes, or until the fish is flaky and tender
  • serve with mushrooms and side salad
  • ENJOY!

    My oh My! This looks and sounds wonderful - we don't get lake trout but I bet Salmon would work great! Thanks Chef for the wonderful post.
