Ingredients

3 tbsp. balsamic vinegar

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 tbsp. lemon zest

1/2 cup olive oil

1/3 cup chopped basil leaves

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp. chopped shallots

salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Combine all ingredients until mixed well.

I can't wait to try this, I just planted a little basil plant and was wondering what I was going to do with all of it. I didn't realize that basil grew so quickly.

I too have an overgrown basil plant. I tried this recpie it was great. I didnt have lemons so I used limes. I let my steaks marinade overnight they were yummy. Thanks
