How to make it

  • Cook beef, sausage, onion, mushrooms and garlic. Drain. Stir in tomato sauce, wine, bay leaf, basil, marjoram, 1 t. salt and 1/4 t pepper. Boil, reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 20-30 minutes or until desired consistency. Cook pasta. In a separate bowl combine eggs, ricotta, Parmesan, 1/2 of the mozzarella and parsley. Layer 1/2 the lasagna noodles, cheese mix, and meat. Repeat layers. Bake 375 covered with foil for 30 minutes. Uncover and add remainder of the mozzarella cheese and bake 15 minutes more. Let stand 10 minutes.
