Blanche's Slush

This is a delightful summer drink to have waiting for you in your freezer on a hot day! My Mom's neighbour Blanche Neddo passed this on. Ingredients
- 9 cups water shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 large can of frozen orange juice concentrate shopping list
- 1 large can of frozen lemonade concentrate shopping list
- 1 26 oz. bottle of gin, vodka or alcool (whatever your poison) shopping list
- 7-up or ginger ale shopping list
How to make it
- Bring the water and the sugar to a rolling boil in a large saucepan on the stove. Simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Let cool.
- Add the can of frozen orange juice, the can of frozen lemonade and the bottle of your poison.
- Mix well. Freeze in a 1 gallon ice cream pail in your freezer.
- To serve, fill a glass 3/4's full of frozen slush and then top up with 7-Up.
- Make a toast to Blanche!
