How to make it

  • In a saucepan, combine sugars, sour cream and coffee powder. Cook and stir until mixture reaches soft ball stage (236 degrees).
  • Remove from heat ;add vanilla and the walnuts. Stir gently until all the nuts are coated. Pour the mixture into buttered shallow pan or a platter. With forks, separate nuts. Cool until set.

    I stopped by again to let you know that I made your Coffee Walnuts yesterday as part of a coffee-themed gift basket that I put together for a friend. I have to thank you again for your recipe. The nuts were just great! I made them a few years ago and forgot about the recipe until I found it yesterday (again!) and made them. These are so good!
